Absolutely. Both HDX and HD Native are 100% successful on all of our Mac Mini M2 Pro, Mac Studio M1 Max and Ultra, only by using the Sonnet Echo III (not the Echo Express III-D).

The only issue whatsoever was when the Native card was in the chassis without the HDX switch flipped (position 2, I believe) the card would drop out signal to the converters after about 15 minutes....

Peter, I'm glad to hear you got it working!

I also noticed Newegg just stopped carrying the board, and I can't seem to find any other boards like it.

Here's my exact sequence:

Boot iBoot
Install 10.6.3 retail
Reboot into 10.6.3 (via iBoot)
Install 10.6.7 update
Install current MultiBeast, choosing "User DSDT" and installed "Bootloader...

Hmm, that's very weird. Are you running the latest bios? Mine is dated July, 2011

Also, when you try to boot the iBoot, hit -v (for verbose) and see where it makes it to. I'm wondering what...

I'm using 10.6.7 (10.6.3 retail disk)

How far are you getting? Maybe you should give the Legacy iBoot disk a try?

I don't recall finding/changing any HPET settings in the bios, so that might be a non-issue.

But I can tell you, the most important setting I had to change was "AHCI" in the Sata menu. And also...
