New Mac now? or wait for G5/64bit stuff?

Ok. So i have the money on hand to go ahead and buy a new mac now- for my Digi001, but am not sure if I should buy one now, or later. There's always the waiting game- but then again there's also the...

Re: Berklee Pro Tools Course

Are you talking about MTEC-224 (Digital Audio Basics/Digital Systems) or MTEC-381 (Hard Disk Recording and NonLinear editing)?

Each of those are 2 credit courses (it seems to cost about $550 per...

Re: Tracking Live Drums ?

Don't overdeaden your drums though. Some people buy these wonderful toms and kicks, and then stuff them full of pillows or cover them with duct tape and padding. To me, this sounds like buying a...

Re: Windows XP PT6- Look and features

Ok, so I don't get it- why should we get PT LE 6.x? It doesn't seem to do anything really for us. I think the 75 dollars might be better spent if I just put it into my savings for a TDM or HD rig.

Re: how will we see patch names in 6 from synths

How much programming would this seriously be for them to do? Look at how fast people in the Linux community kick out stuff, and most of them aren't getting paid. I am thinking that two guys working...

I'll actually give it a shot if you email me to remind me (I can't mix it until I get back to Boston).

Re: for those of you that like big monitors.......

Yea, but the problem is that the max resolution is only 852x480 pixels. That's gonna suck, if you do anything over 8 tracks or so. In all serious, I think the faders, and inserts in PT can be taller...

Re: Ramsa mixing board?

Are you talking about a Ramsa DA7? Those are good boards. Decent Preamps, and convertors that are much better than the Digi001's.
