Massey DTM rules. You can use the midi to playback your own samples through structure free or trigger BFD and Addictive drums.

Its ok for mild tuning as an insert, and for audiosuiting vocals in large sessions, but for the most part Melodyne is it..
On a side note:
I've played a bit with Waves Tune and I think it sounds...

I cant say exactly how the power of the UAD2 quad compares to an HD card, but it probably has more power.
I have an HD2 accel, with a UAD2 quad card and a MacPro Quad 2.66. I've been mixing alot...

Unfortunately, the info on the digi compatability page with the d24 system is only through 10.2.8.

Has any one had luck going to tiger?

I need to up-grade the system I have to work on to 10.4...
