Have you tried using one of the included EQs to dial out the unwanted freq. ? Maybe just raise the noise gate too. If you are getting "fuzzy" noise in the background you may need to open your guitar...

On the top of the LE Windows section is a post labeled General Troubleshooting Windows PT LE or something akin to that. Go there, the instructions for A Sandra report are there, follow them exactly....

As far as UAC goes it needs to be disabled, completely OFF to run PT well.

As far as "Run as Administrator" goes, there is no need to do that for an installer as if you do not have the privilages...

Are you loading from a dvd or did you download it from digidesign.com? It should take no more that 10 minutes unless you have a slower pc, I cant see it taking anymore than 30 minutes. sounds like...
