my friends system had this problem on xp. he was inadvertently recording to the os drive. and his firewire drive was only 5400 rpm.

Which version are you using.? 8.0.3 cs2? Also what drive do you record to? eSATA, Firewire, internal. And is it a 7200 RPM drive?

My 2 cents on this, If you try to record 32 channels of audio at once and fail, you would most likely not blame the software (although some would :rolleyes:) It's no different than too many RTAS...

I do agree with this. It used to be when some one said "I have Pro Tools" the general thought was "WOW". Not so much anymore. It would be great to see Digi or Avid (whatever) to shake up the industry...
