Personally I wouldn't. A USB 3.0 would be 5 times faster than a 1Gb ethernet connection. Internal SATA up to 6Gbs, and NVMe up to 16Gbs. I think you would be setting yourself up for errors/crashing.

My plan lapses in 15 days. I think I'm going to let it go this time (currently using 2018.10). I don't feel like I should be paying a subscription fee for bug fixes. Have been looking at competing...

You can do that if you select "save a copy in" from your project, then just change the format to session and save it locally.

I'm getting the exact same error message. I was on version 12.5.2, using about 80% of my storage space. Deleted 3 projects, space never dropped down. Tried creating a new project, get the same error...
