You can run vepro on the same machine. No need for separate computer. That's what I do. It's a virtual network connection. Syncs and delay compensated within protools. Works great in 10hd. Also...

Use vepro. I think there is a trial maybe.

Try vepro and put kontact in there. On some VI I have to use vepro. Native Instruments are notoriously fickle in protools. Some of them work fine and others do not. I just run all my NI in vepro...
