I bought my upgrade from PT8HD to PT9HD between 10/1/2011 and 10/20/11 but I registered in 11/1 and never got any information on the free upgrade.

It has to do with the number of TDM Slots available *AND* how many cards you can drive on the bus.

So one limitation is time slots, you only have 250.
The other is the ability to drive the cable...

I like Digi's ProTools update policy. The upgrade cost the same for everyone.
