I had some trouble with this too. 6.4 XP -> 7.3 intel imac.. I copied from a NTFS HD to my iMac, and was getting "logical end of file..." I had to burn to CD or DVD, copy to imac, and it worked....

It depends. Do you have a need for expansion cards or internal hard drives?

I went with a 20" iMac. I'm fine with external FW drives and no card slots.

I know the docs say 768 is required. Will the installer shut me down if I don't have 768..?? Yes I plan to upgrade. Just seeing if anyone has tried it.
