No definitive reason given for the issue, but in my case, it appeared that possibly I had never activated my perpetual bundle license from 4 years ago. Not sure that had anything to do with it...

Upon starting PT today, I am requested to activate it - why this all of a sudden?
I click activate. It says "Select License to Activate" and also says "You don't have any licenses in your account......

Edit Window Not Floating and Frozen

Starting the session at bar 3 is not unusual or anything to be concerned about IMO. The start bar is user-definable.
