my project mix i/o is firewire 400. its running through an adapter cable. pro tools recommends NOT daisy chaining firewire 400 devices and...

So, i'm running pro tools 9 on a 2009 macbook pro, 2.8 gigs of RAM.

I'm doing a lot of post work using Ableton (w/ Rewire) pretty heavily.
