That's a shame. Unfortunately the GPIO is designed for a normally open switch. It was just luck that the bug helped you out...but it caused a lot of bad issues for other customers when talkback was...

This was a bug...talkback would get switched on without a user knowing it so we removed the check from the XMON App. Is your foot switch normally closed or open...does it have a setting to change it ?
