Re: PT 8.1.1 HD Mountain Lion

doesn't sound promising - thanks Craig.

Apparently most are running Komplete 9 on Snow Leopard (though not supported) with no issues, sounds like safer way to go.

Hey everyone - running 8.1.1 HD on OSX 10.6.9 at the moment. Want to upgrade the OS to run Kontakt Komplete. Just wondering if 8.1.1 runs alright on Mountain Lion. Thanks in advance!

Some love for Digi.

Yes, AIR has missed the mark on a few things, however...

Some of these VI's, particularly Boom and Vacuum are really quite good.
Inspiring, fast, easy to use and solid. You can loop Boom...

Re: i heard some nice gossip

No chance. Future is native. Possibly an 'Eleven' type box with DSP and I/O all in one.

Re: Crash when Closing Pro Tools 8.0.1 (every time)

In the end for me it was the Lexicon PCM 96 plugs that weren't up to date.
I also removed Mach Five 2 and Amp Farm.

Elastik/Stylus/Omnisphere/Steinway all seem to be fine.

The system went...

remapping F-keys 1 through 4 on Intel keyboard

Specifically the keys for Shuffle/Spot/Slip/Grid. Appears they've been hijacked by the Mac OS.

Just wondering how to do this, thanks.

Re: Crash when Closing Pro Tools 8.0.1 (every time)

Hey man - I went through the exact same thing and it turned out to be a plug in (s). Start by removing all VI's, make sure you are up to date on the rest and go from there. I'm on 8.01 and rock...

Magma PE6R4 question

Hello...figured I might as well try to take advantage of the many who have done this before me....

I have one of these babies on the way down to the studio. Is there an order for the cards or any...

Re: Fate...G5 died today

Good to know, thanks guys. I think i will just start from scratch, I have all of the updaters as I just did this on the PPC a couple of weeks ago. Reading a lot of hit and miss on these Magma...

Re: New Mac products out today!

On paper the iMac looks to be a great choice for an LE rig but always worried about the laptop-esque performance when you get down to the heavy lifting. Early adopters let us know how it's going...

Fate...G5 died today

Unbelievable. I've been chiming in over the last few weeks wondering what to do when the G5 finally decided it had had enough.

Speculation has become reality. Magma and Intel on the way...

Re: Digi and the future

I agree, if it ain't broke...however...

Writers that use Pro Tools sort of need to play the update game to keep up with the latest VI's. It is unfortunate but the third party software is as much...

Steinway in Kontakt3.5

Apparently Steinway is based on older version of Kontakt which is not supported by PT8. Digi recommends accessing it through the Kontakt 3.5 player. I can't seem to get Kontakt to see it, anyone...

Re: Return of Lexiverb!

I have the PCM96 so am a little irked about this since I've been wrestling so much with the plug in interface. I assume this would run smoother not having to communicate with an outside box. That...

Re: 8.01 bugs

Zeeman that scares the hell out of me...one day I'm going to walk into the studio and the Dual 1.8 is going to decide not to play any more. Yikes. Glad to hear you got sorted though.

Much better than...
