I'm seeing this error on the latest PT (ultimate, 2023.12.1) when I wasn't before.

PT also unable to do Bar:Beat generation, can't capture analyse even when a 2 bar section...

No - the whole point of moving the sync point is so you can eg snap a region with a leading edge to the grid and keep it in time. Eg a tambourine where the impact isn’t the start of the sample.

Update - I think I've fixed it.

(For the record I'm running latest versions of PT and Eucon, no control app at the moment, 2 x artist mixes...might add dock and ipad app at some point.)

I wouldn't worry about that. But there's very few plugins that ARE AAX only anymore.

And the ones that are...tend to be really good (Phoenix II for example, Massey's whole suite).

same issue here. AT Scans then crashes - randomly. It's a total pain. AT has always been buggy, AT Pro seems buggier still.

But at least it sounds better than Melodyne - can't stand the way...

This is technically "correct" behaviour and every other DAW is fudging it.

If you switch timebase reference to ticks - it'll behave as you wish.

PT has always behaved like this.

Update. I'm finding that when I'm running a channel through an aux with ANY Native plugin on it, offline bounce prints that channel early.

And it's magnified when you're printing through 2 x aux...

I think I have a similar issue. I've only noticed it on 2018.4 - .3 was fine.

Offline bounce - delay compensation is all over the shop.

It doesn't happen with blank sessions.

I use UAD...

It's not an error in samples mode - it's "correct", the other DAWs are actually fudging things! However, you can set PT to fudge things too if...

I'm also seeing the same thing. Offline bounce doesn't appear to be taking into account delay compensation or similar.

I'm running Ultimate 2018.4. 2018.3 was fine as far as I can remember.

Thanks guys. yep I'd already done a reboot.

It's not something I'd noticed before. Rebooting actually didn't fix it, but upping the buffer size did. Probably jerked it out of whatever confusion...
