I'm just wondering if anyone out there's recording with a connectioncable(the one between the breakoutbox and the card) that is longer than six feet? Are you then experiencing any loss of any kind?

"the fidelity of the digi001 is FLAT" thats about what I needed to hear. I'm fully aware of different mixing situations you may encounter(optimum in 85db and so on..)
And NO, my addiction doesn't...

but samoasattorney says it sounds bad also in his hifi-gear from a burned cd aswell. the SBdrivers doesnt have an impact on that do they?

the point of mp3's are the small spacerequirements. mp3 is a compromise due to hifi.
