Re: She\'s breaking up.....
Reseating boards and cables is not a good answer.
If the noise problem only occurs in Destructive record mode with no plug ins and no automation (happened to me yesterday) then it's a bug in PT...

Re: Broken file or PT5 bug, TechSpt?
Jeffery,
Not too many ProTools NT users here in the Phoenix area. My son and I have 2 NT systems, a Mix and a Mix+. I haven't experienced the PT5 problems mentioned in this post, but I do have some...

Re: Best CD burner to buy, used CD burners a bad choice?
I've used Phillips external SCSI 2X write/6X read, Yamaha internal IDE 4XW/6XRW/20XR, and the Smart & Friendly internal SCSI 8/4/32.
Of the three the Phillips has been rock solid but 2X is slow by...

I'm a song writer.
I don't think charging double royalties on Internet radio stations is fair. I think INet stations should pay anual affiliation fees like all other broadcasters.
I agree that...

SCII+ TDM and PT24 Mix with PT 5.0
I haven't received PT 5.0 yet, but I'm really curious:
With the improved midi implementation of PT 5.0 will I be able to skip the external sequencer (Cakewalk) and get 20 bit digital SCII+ native in...

Re: Which Motherboards are working with NT & Protools
I built a Pentium II 450 box based on the IWill BS-100. 5 PCI slots and 2 ISA's. It has on-board SCSI and works great. On-board means you don't give up a slot for SCSI controller. Digi advised to...

Anyone using SC II with TDM in ProTools NT?
How does SC II compare to the Emu E4?
Your comments would be appreciated.

It all depends on what...

I do have other midi...
