That just won't work for me. I don't want to be keeping the output gain high and the input gain low. It's much better to have the input gain high and output gain low if possible.

Nice, I'm glad your issues are resolved. As for me, I've been on a 100% clean install and still have issues, so while that may have fixed crashes and freezes (which I don't get), it doesn't fix CPU...
