thanks for the tip... because I used a lacie big extreme (which is raid0) with protools I guess it didn't occur to me that the bios controlled raid on the computer would be a no no....

I am upgrading an old protools III TDM system, the best I can get out of the hardware is Protools TDM 5.0.1 on os 9 on the Powermac 6900.
