I have a glyph drive and I really enjoy it. Sometimes I wish I had one of those small lacie drives. Usually if you are recording an artist you can have them bring their own drives if you need to save...

just because it says not supported doesn't mean it won't work. other unsupported devices, and computer setups have worked in the past. its not really worth getting worked up over in the end business...

I don't see why this wouldn't work out. Apollo is said to start shipping around march. It should work perfectly for what you want.

im using a not supported or tested mac on pt9 with an apogee one and i did not experience any issues with the buffer... im not daisy chaining it (its usb) and using a glyph fw drive...

the david franz book producing in the home studio will be a good start as well as reading the documents in the pdf files that came with yoursetup and browsing this forum will help too. good luck.
