Hey folks.
I'm tearing my hair out over this one and seeing as I'm mostly bald, that's not a good thing.

I often create a grid from recorded drums. This results in a ton of small tempo events.....

Try separating the clip/region that you want to treat.
Also, I may be way off on this but are you postitve that this is audio? It looks like a midi event.

In my conversations with Avid support, I have gotten the impression that they see this as a small issue that only a few users are concerned...

Yup. 7 years now of support promising me that this was being ported to HD native.
I know that folks say things like this a lot but this is a dead BASIC feature.
It's just crazy that it's available...
