Get an akai mpc series. you will never regret owning one . you can probally find a used one for around $900.

try a cable with 1/4 inch balanced to to xlr and you should be fine.

You could try a higher end tascam cassette multitrack and then dump it into protools . Dont weaste your time with the adat though unless you want more inputs on your 002 or want a cheap way to back...

Try changing needles if your not using something like ortofones or white lables . Also try a good record cleaner like groove glide. and try turning down your highs .

sorry my number lock was off I got the mbox in janury it had 5.2 and the sent 6 for free

Igot the M-box in january with and they sent me at no charge.

anyone know how long I have for the warranty . I just called sam ash and got some of the worst customer service Ive ever had from them on the item.

Im runing Os 9.2 and protools 5.2 . Ive also tried trashing and reinstalling prootools with no luck

Ive got a g4 450mhz with 512 megs 2,40 gig segate drives the mbox is connected to usb #2 audio outs are connected to a patch bay so I can connect my Dj set up or my synth, sampler , or my guitar...

M box input problems

My m-box will not send sound to an armed track set to input 2. the sound will travel directly to the main outputs but not into protools. Ive also noticed if I set it to inst. it gives a nasty digital...
