Re: 9.0.6 losing Mbox Pro communication

Not to hijack your thread but I just updated to 9.06 yesterday and, like you, have an iMac and an older glyph FW drive 050. My issue was that when I went to open up my session, my audio files were...

Re: Pro-Tools MP 9

Apologies in advance if this has already been covered, but as a 2626 PT M 8.03 user, I'd love to know if there's an upgrade discount. Anyninfo would be appreciated.

Re: What if when you were trashing preferences...

I'm pretty certain it was only the digi- plist files. I was doing the ol' maintenance trash preferences procedure which I've done before. And done successfully too. However, with this one, once...

Re: What if when you were trashing preferences...

Me too. However, this was the first time that PT couldn't find the mini Grand or Structure library of sounds or preferences.

If I don't hear fom anyone I'm gonna do a full reinstall from my Avid...

Re: What if when you were trashing preferences...

Or to put it, hopefully, more intelligently, can I simply download the "Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.3 Full Installer (Mac OS 10.5/10.6 for Intel) does not support PowerPC?"

Again, sorry for being...

Re: What if when you were trashing preferences...

Okay, so I just did the ol' clean uninstall. When reinstalling, do I simply go to my Avid account and install directly from there? Or (Gawd help me), resort to my original disks?

How do I get out of Manual Tempo Mode, to enter the tempo I wish?

Just updated to 8.01cs1 and I'm just at a loss why the Manual Tempo mode prevents you from typing in the tempo setting you wish. Jeezus, why would they default to this when it was so easy to double...

Re: plugins?

McDSP Project Bundle is really good. Of all of them, including the G Channel, I am most likely to buy the full version of the ML 4000 mastering limiter. It friggin' rocks.

John,
Impressive stuff. Did you mix the song too? Did you shoot the video? Were you the assembler? Sorry for the 20-questions game, but really impressive.
