So can I use the old mbox2 and PT LE 8 with a new mac or what?

i see there's been a driver update but here's my issue

i use a macbook that runs leopard (not snow leopard) and protools LE 8 with an mbox 2

i want to get a brand new iMac

will this work or...

open other peoples session but keep my settings

i get sessions sent to me for mixing, but when i open them, they open in the persons settings who sent me the file

then i gotta readjust a bunch of stuff

how can i get the audio to open up but...

i bought mbox 2 bundle that came with a bunch of plugs including joemeek

this was with PTLE 7.3

i upgraded to protools 8 and tried to install the joemeeks off the disc that came with my other...

i want to setup my korg r3 connected to my mbox2 so i can play the virtual instruments but sequence it in an mpc and then record the audio into protools so i can adjust it mixing

all the ones i've found show the people demoing the instrument but none show how to set it up

i already have files tracked out of an mpc...

works good so far but i haven't tried any midi hookups

the only thing is that now when i plug in my mbox2, the sound from the comp doesn't go thru it

huge problem and questions please help

so i got a bootleg of leopard and tried to install it

didn't backup anything

now it won't install right

so i can't get to my main screen so i'm just gonna go and buy leopard at the mac store...

question about these cracklezzzzzzz

mbox 2 works fine but after a while of mixing and adding plugs or after a while of recording vocals i start to get static, then i save where i'm at, quit PT and restart it and it works fine then...

plugin delay and audiosuite

just curious if instead of putting a plugin on the mixer and getting the delay, if instead i just use the audiosuite of the same plugin and change the wav itself

well i don't want the antares plugin anymore

it was a trial of autotune evo

thing is, i need the os x 10.5 to use it which i don't have

so i just want to get rid of the plugin and the pop up...

so i found the bootcamp beta that was released for tiger before leopard came out

supposedly it works if i keep my clock date before 2008

so once i use this and put windows xp on...

question on updating protools

i have 7.3.1

if i update will this effect the use of my plugins in any way?

will they have to be re-installed

how are u using bootcamp without os x leopard????

i have the exact same specs as you but i thought bootcamp only works with leopard
