I'm generally fairly happy with it, the vocalist thinks the vocals sound too "raw". ...

I think the voice needs a boost somewhere around the mid high-high range listening back I think.

How would you suggest boosting the bass frequency of the overall mix? A simple eq boost?

Guitars were recorded through a pod.
Bass through a Sansamp.
Drums were superior drummer.

So technically it should be fairly perfect already (if that's what you mean by source?).

Further to this, do you mean missing bass (as in the guitar) or bass in the overall mix? If the latter what is the best way of boosting this? Is there a better way than just chucking an eq on there...
