Good Points. I agree that you cant predict the future and their are possible scenarios that could force Digi to phase out Mac support. I dont know if being 6 months behind on updates would be enought...

I'm with Wolfgang on this one. I personally use both Mac's and PC's with several different Pro Tools setups, so I have no particular concern either way, I just don't think it is a logical decision...

Yes. I can think of a couple options, I am sure other people have their pref's.

bingo, you can stil render files quickly from the audio files list in the edit window if you are not using any RTAS plugins or external effects of course. Not sure how often this happens anymore...
