thanks for the information guys. I may consider upgrading to 7.4, because for my needs I don't know if I need to step up to 8.0 or spend the money on a new mbox.

I would definitely get a Firewire drive, but when I got my new Dell desktop, I over looked getting any firewire ports, so I don't even have the port for firewire....

Switch the the track view mode to pan or volume- maybe you have a marker set that needs to be removed. It will bounce to the last marker, not the end of the audio track.
