It's not only a dumb AVID thing but the same dumb EUCON implementation on APPLE's LOGIC PRO side. If I read your thread It seems for me the same for PROTOOLS :(

I did a lot of customization for this interface to use both wheels at the same time for different operations. For which application you use it?

In Logic I had to setup own customized wheel...

TotalMixFX and Avid Artist only work via Mackie Control = There is no direct Eucon implementation.
Therefor there is no problem on Avid's but on RME's side, because TotalMix uses weird software...

I only tested with MC Transport (don't have MC Control). It works very fine and smooth. Final Cut X has no Eucon integration (yet :rolleyes:). All Transport-Commands are programmed with Key-Shortcuts...

It's not only "better now" but it's the most important thing!!!

You have to only setup 3 steps for braking in that 3 transitions around zone 0. More or less than these 3 steps fail to stop!
