yes, yes of course I did! OMG... for hours I perused and downloaded and persistently tried to install PT 8.01, 8.03 but to no avail. Not only that, but I have all the files actually on my computer...

I also have had a summer from hell in trying to resolve the distortion. I have learned alot about sound cards. I use the Mobile Pre. There are many factors that create problems with our M audio...

In trying to find a shortcut, I instead spliced my wave file with tons of unwanted vertical lines, and now I am not able to edit, use the grabber tool, make a fade... nada! a clue... the cut tool is...
