Yes, that sounds like a hassle going back between audio interfaces.
I think i will stick to the method suggested, using usb for virtual instruments and just using analog output into my focusrite....

I got the #500 error after updating Avid Link. And then it would not let me sign on. That was last night. Going to update now and hopefully it goes smoothly.
