I have a quad and I have never maxed it out - but that’s just me.

As I said earlier in this thread, i am very particular with my UAD purchases, i bought a lot of native plugins so I wouldn’t have...

I wouldn’t bother with UAD-1 and it might cause compatibility issues with your rig

That and the mk2’s sound so much better than the original UAD-1’s

I don’t know about the worst, but there isn’t a comparison, I however used to use them to track b/c they have pretty good native Latency specs, iirc

Then I would switch to UAD for mixing

Yeah that plugin release was a gaffe (you know it was drew)

And people who owned the Complete Neve Bundle should have been credited the plugin to their account

It was made for the Arrow users...

Summit TLA100 is what I use while tracking, I can get it to sound LA-2A ish.

They run horribly in a mix, and a recent x4000-x6500 Intel CPU doesn’t need help.

They would never run in a session at x64 buffer

Track with them if you have a UAD interface (sure) but I...

If I had to, I could justify the cost of UAD simply for the 1176’s and the LA2A’s

They are that good sounding imho

It definitely will outlive HDX.

Yep, an Apollo is a fantastic tool, top notch in all ways. Honestly I could do just fine with one, but.....

1. I don’t like fussing with a 3rd party...
