I`ve been having the same problem for a year now...the reason I didn`t bother to try and fix it is that ,when this latency issue occours ,with the project open , I reload the audio engine and viola...

I`m not an expert on this issue.....but an mp3 never sounded the same as a minimal wave file of 44.1 khz 16bit.....so why should a wave file of say 48khz 24 bit sound the same as a wave file of 44.1...

Hi all ...when I have those very few situations where I need more then 32 inputs...I use Cakewalk ..it`s even free now...sometimes I even do all midi editing in it , cause I find it much better then...

Just my 1c....could be that the PT version you are trying to open at home is a later version then the one at the studio..... check the versions and the licence in the ilock.

Hi friends it`s been a great run ,these are the last 2 weeks of upgrades for me won`t be spending the 235 euros p/a for a few updates a year anymore.

It happened to me earlier on windows...cause I use both Win & Mac....
Solution for me was to upgrade or downgrade the Ilock Manager.

All I did to fix it is like Jfreak , K.I. and Bscout are telling you , refresh your Ilock manager ,so that you have all your licenses up to date....

It`s not infinitely better then PT...it`s as good as PT and Free.
I`ve been using Cakewalk for 15 years and will keep on doing so.
OMF export between PT and Cakewalk just to do things that are not...

Well for Native users we have a 32 input limit.....I can`t even record a live band with that......but no problem there is Bandlab`s Sonar for Free and any other DAW on the planet that can handle...

Worked with it for about 45 min on a project I am working on , on my Mac Book Pro and Stability is way better now even an Mac.
Very Happy at this early stage.

2019.5 very stable on Win

2019.5 very stable in all aspects on my Win 10 Laptop...later I try it on my Mac Book Pro 2016 and let you know how it goes.
