You should never power up or down with your monitors on. The pop you hear is the power surging to the speakers. I have an Imac as well, and pop that the Imac makes is an Imac...

PEOPLE of the DUC,

I am proud to anounce that I can now track at an alarming H/W buffer rate of **256** without a hick-up. I had to disable the network connection (bluetooth)...
