Interruptions and buffer size problems

Pro Tools has recently been giving me the "increase buffer size" message and when not recording the audio is being interrupted for a split-second with silence. I haven't had this problem with this PC...

Thanks for the recommendation. Since I got PT up and working there hasn't been much of an issue with recording and saving. So I'll see how this setup works out.

I ran into trouble trying to wrap this vst to rtas. At the moment I am using the Fxpansion adapter to try and convert the program, but it's giving a "could not be wrapped" message. Does anyone have...

OK I eventually got it up and running. I searched some other threads and the way to go after you install PT Le 8 and then the update while connecting your devices is to connect your devices sparingly...

I tried downloading PT8 Le, right-clicking on the setup file and running as admin also in case it was a cd issue. I don't know why but it just paused during installation for a really long time. So...

It was worth a shot(to run as admin) but I don't think it made any difference. I still got the error message.

I don't think that's it. Thanks for the suggestion though. I tried switching it on and off, it didn't make a difference..

Mbox audio cut off

I was recording an audio track without problems, and then I changed tracks, hit the record button and the audio just cut off on all audio tracks. The only input which still works is the midi keyboard...

Makes sense. I use firefox, maybe that has something to do with the problem. But it doesn't affect the audio when I close all apllications and restart.

I'm on a pc, windows xp.
I gave up on pro tools a while ago, I use Ableton Live 8.0.5 now with an mbox 2 mini.

Is it at all possible to play sound from myspace and youtube through mbox? I have setup so that my system audio can play through mbox, but when I go to play sound from any of these sites I don't hear...

I recently uninstalled Pro Tools LE 8 to try and get another program to work. It didn't work out, so now I'm trying to install PT back on my system again but it won't let me. I keep getting this...

I tried installing the 7.4 ASIO drivers but it doesn't work. It asks to uninstall any other later drivers such as the 8.0 ones before install the older drivers.
