Hi, I recently added 4gb of ram to my iMac to make 8gb to run PT11. Previously it would hang up virtually as soon as I started to run a session. Now runs smoothly except there is no sound coming out....

cheers bradch00, at the risk of sounding stupid can I clarify your set up; you connect the mac to the hard drive (FW800 to Fw400) and the hard drive to your preamp/interface (FW800 to Fw400)?
