Guysssss I sorted it out .... Try switching to Light Mode in Big Sur instead of Dark Mode and Reduce Transparency and Motion in Accessibility Options Display in Settings and you're good to go !! Avid...

Well I never complained about 128 :) It runs smoothly for me and even with vocal tracking, Guitar Tracking I am absolutely fine ... it just beats me as to the point where I can go lower to 32 samples...

well i am narrowing it down more ... if i go to 32 samples which is cool i won't have any hangs unless i record arm any audio track ....

Ok I narrowed it down ... Well when I go below 128 samples buffer size I start to get those Freezes ... I am running an Apollo 8p here and an iMac Pro 2017 ... so I guess it's a bug ... can anyone...

okay I am getting those freezes .... especially when I open UAD console 2 and arm record a track in Pro Tools .... for no apparent reason ... is it a bug ?

why do you call it Sidechain Delay comp ?

I believe that the ADC is not working until today in Pro Tools unlike Logic for example

if I have few instruments tracks with let's say UAD plugins on...
