For some reason, any track on any session that i listen to sounds really dull when it's center panned. When i pan to the left or right it clears up and sounds fine. This only happens when i listen...

you must hear the G5

before you get the g4 you should go to the store and just listen to the g5. there is a huge difference in noise between the two machines. the g5 is totally silent. might be something to think...

i've got a drum beat in redrum that, when i rewire it through protools won't let me change its BPM. it only stays at 120 bpm. it's driving me crazy. when i saved the song in reason, it played fine...

first of all, the jaguar discs are not an update, it is a fully install.

you're problem is that mac's cant use an OS that is older than what was preinstalled. The new powermacs probably shipped...
