I deleted Editor app. I then re-downloaded the installer for the version I was on, so that I could deploy the uninstaller provided with that version. Uninstalled. Downloaded app again from AVID....

Not for lack of trying on other threads, but is there any hope to get a response here on why I still encounter MIDI ERROR or COMMUNICATION ERROR, even after the driver...

After installation & reboot, I don't get the MIDI error but I get a communication error. What's next...

YES. And now after installing the new driver, instead of the MIDI Error, I now get this.

BTW- I don't see any new comments on the other thread where you suggest to continue conversation.

YEP, as suspected: Updated Catalina to 10.15.5 and MIDI ERROR message is gone, the Editor app launches, and 11R appears in PT in the Windows pull down.

Something buggy in AVID's PT releases is...

Every update of PT wipes out 11R editor for me. I get the MIDI engine error & 11R not available in PT Windows pull down menu.

Seems that every MacOS update restores it

Bummer because I update...

Am I wrong, or does every update of PT overwrite ElevenRack, resulting in the MIDI ERROR message, and the editor no longer accessible? Lat time I updated MacOs I was again able to open the Editor...

It launched and I was able to use it as editor tot he Rack Rig. I do not use it as an audio interface to record.

Sadly, as soon as I updated latest PT 2020.3 it again displays the same error about...

Just updated Catalina 10.15.4 & Editor Launched without the previous error message. I don't know why & haven't fully tested.
