Re: Lacie D2 extreme triple??

I been using Lacie for years but im new to the D2 Extreme ..I was talking to lacie and they sais that there Firewire ( Only ) drives are oxford 911. I love my Lacie but I have just upgraded to 7.1.1...

Is anyone using this drive I heard ots a really good drive however it uses a oxford 912 chipset..not a 911 whats up with this and can this drive still be used..i have been using it for a while but am...

on the rear of the Lacie drive i only have 1 fire wire 400 input ( reqtangle looking port 400 I beleave ) but it does have 2 800 ports can I run the 002rack into the 400 and use a 800 to 400 cable...

Can I plug my Lacie D2 into one of the Firewire inputs on the rear of the 002rack and run the rack into the mac mini..is this ok

Lacie d2 Hard drive question

I just baught a Mac Mini and it only has 1 FireWire port and 4 USB ports....Can I run the lacie D2 via USB or should I get a FireWire hub....and will the hub work...the D2 has a few hook up opitions...
