I would definitely demo TB AMM v2 for a while before buying it. I tried it a couple of weeks ago on 2020.12 and it seemed pretty well unusable.

oh golly. This is a pretty simple request that really should work. Create 30 mono outputs in a new I/O list, then create 30 mono channels and 30 mono master faders in the session.

There is a known problem with HDX cards being recognised. It might be the issue. If you dig up the 2020.12 read me PDF on the avid website, it contains a couple of terminal commands to straighten it...

I heard a rumour that a Weiss EQ can make a sample library of the London Symphony Orchestra sound like the real thing. It must be the hardware EQ though. The plug-in version sounds like trash.

In an era of fast SSDs I would have thought Kontakt's DFD and sample purging, or Vienna Synchron's direct streaming would have been a pretty common method to avoid loading everything into RAM.

HDX and Carbon aren't really anything like UAD in use. Carbon has a hybrid engine, and both Carbon and HDX platforms utilise AAX-DSP and AAX-Native plugin types side by side. UAD doesn't do either of...
