Good idea terry, but after looking at that statement from avids POV I can quickly see why they don't go this route. Just think how many different problems/technical difficulties would arise.

No I have never used many VSTIs, mostly just vst's which should not have taken up much cpu.

I know I will have to figure out by trial and error, its just a huge nuisance though.
