It could have to do with the conform feature in premiere. after your capture it goes through and makes shure all the frames are evenly spaced. If you didn't do it on purpose , perhaps it's set to...

Thanks tech-head, now looking at the apple site it looks as though the iDVD burns an apple watermark logo into the frame. Do you know if this is true?

Hey Brent, I did that already thinking that my floppy had gone bad but the new one does the same thing. I'm sure it's possible for both to be bad but it seams unlikely... Got any other suggestions!

Have you tried capturing at different file sizes? Under the capture settings I always have the limit rate selected to maintain a steady file size. Just Guessing!

You will pretty much always get 1 or 2 dropped frames and they are usually at the start and end of your capture.

Glad I could help...I meant delete the file from the edit window, adjust the TC start and then drag it from the region list, that's all but hopefully you figured it out.

How did you Bounce this Quicktime Movie? It must be done under the Movie Menu "Bounce to Movie". This will Marry the Audio to picture instead of creating just an Audio file!

I battled this problem for quite some time before reverting back to Premiere 4.3. Version 4x has the conform movie option that doesn't exist in 5x. There are several threads about this, look them up....

Well I have the fuse card and had bad luck with Premiere 5x. I went back to vers. 4.3 and it has been Great!
