PT 7.4.1 issues

Protools takes almost 4 seconds to start on hitting play -

I am running a PT session with video. On hitting the play button it protools almost 4 seconds to playback. The session is running video....

Whats more important is an overall balance wherein the LFE sounds part of the mix rather than the Star actor of the film.

LFE level is best judged using your ears in a properly aligned room.

Post Conform

We are using Post Conform on the Protools Mixplus system (ver5.3.1) for all of our Dialogue Conforming once the EDL comes in from the editor.

All has been working well for the last few years.........

The Genelecs are a pleasant set of speakers. Have not had any harsh experience like so of the engineers out there.

Ken to start with when I finish a film production mix I send the editor a dump out of all my sound rushes which are all in the bwf format. These have the timecode stamps as was recorded on location....
