We have no idea what you plan to be doing with the computer.
Especially for Mac,...

Re: Disk Warrior to repair Mac OSX Sierra?

So it's a kernel panic as I expected. All my comments above apply, including you need to go searching for crash logs... which will contain that more detailed info. And again kernel drivers are always...

Re: 002 to Mac Mini (2014)

Which one what? You should be able to use any high-quality/good brand Firewire 800 to 400 adapter or Firewire 800 to 400 cable depending on how you want to do this, how long a cable you need and if...

Re: Disk Warrior to repair Mac OSX Sierra?

And in Console.app kernel panic logs are in /Library/Log/DiagnosticReports Look for event logs in that folder that end with .crash (or anything else) around the time of the problem. Also look for...

Re: 002 to Mac Mini (2014)

Getting firewire connectivity is not the issue. 002 driver support is. Do you have a 002 diver compatible with your macOS version? If not it's a door stop.

Re: Disk Warrior to repair Mac OSX Sierra?

At this...

Re: Disk Warrior to repair Mac OSX Sierra?

More clear detail would help. what exact SSD? make/model? connected exactly how?

Is the computer panicking? Anything interesting in the system logs? (Console.app). Interface device drivers are a...

Re: Poor solution to the CPU Spikes

Why create yet another thread about this? You are not helping yourself by doing that. Or help put pressure on Avid--you actually decrease that pressure by raising suspicion you left off some...

Re: Audio Input for Pro Tools is disabled error on launch

I am guessing part of the issue at least is you have not approved the HDX driver install in Security & Privacy > general during the install. See https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=403110

First welcome to DUC.

Your post does not seem to really have anything to do with the thread you posted onto. It's an old, fairly incoherent thread. You should in future create a new thread in the...

Re: Audio Input for Pro Tools is disabled error on launch

This issue is discussed in hundreds of posts here on DUC, but maybe a bit hard to find.

Re: Files will not import

I am not sure what is going on if they are linear PCM. You could also try in Quicktime exporting the file as "audio only" (duh) and seeing if you can import that into Pro Tools. But you found a way...

Re: MTRX Studio - No AES?!
