Hmmm... that's strange. When I first got my MBox Pro, I had both the AC cable and the firewire hooked up as per the recommendation in the installation manual. It worked flawless for months and then...

Have you tried running your Mbox without the supplied AC cable? I had the same problem and Digi told me to not use the AC cable and run it just on the firewire power.

Fix

Do you have the AC cable plugged in? If so, unplug it and run it with just the firewire, this should fix your problem.

My Pro started doing the exact same thing and I tried everything to fix it. I finally called Digidesign and the guy new exactly what I was talking about and just said to unplug the AC power supply...
