Oh that's interesting Chris. So if I understand correctly you're taking analog audio out of the MTRX and converting it in the RME to digital before sending it AES? Or you're just taking digital...

ah I see the mtrx studio just doesn't have AES outs and i guess convertors for the other outs just don't work so good. I see the MTRX does have aes outs but you need to buy cards which end up being...

I've used an mbox pro 3 in my studio for nearly a decade and its time for an upgrade. I mix in 5.1 or stereo typically but would like an option to upgrade to Atmos in the future... And I only need 2...

I still make LtRt's just because it makes so easy to mix. I monitor and mix in 5.1 but the encoder automatically creates a balanced stereo version of it for you.

bump. Anyone know the solution for this or is it fixed in 12.5? Just happened randomly it seems but so annoying and sometimes happens a lot and requires a restart.

For some reason, tonight it seems to be working much better. Visually, the waveforms look exactly the same in tonight's bounces. But still not a full cancel and still a little too much for comfort...

ok, ill try the master fader idea. i got nothing else. except maybe importing into a new pt 12 session and seeing if that helps...

It turned out I needed to disconnect from my router and directly connect to my mac to get it to see the Artist control again. I had recently disconnected an Artist mix which had both units working...

Thanks sndnerd. So basically its just asking to leave the full scale mix levels as they are but add a limiter to create the +12 version by pulling down the peaks.

I believe they are analog levels for the Tape machine they are laying back to... But, do people still use analog levels today when asking for mix specs? And isn't all broadcast material today...
