It's frustrating because Digi lists the Oxford 911 chipset. However, not many manufacturers list what chipset they use. How important is this?

If it's just a burned "legit" DVD, you don't need DVD decrypter. Transcoding the video will only lead to quality loss.

Any DVD burning program out there should be able to make a disc to disc...

The difference between PT TDM and LE is basically this. TDM has dedicated hardware...

if they are simple cords you can draw them in with the pencil tool right on the midi track. It will take about 4 seconds per chord..them you can just cut n paste them wherever you need them.

A good (and supported) external Firewire drive will make life easier. You run the PT program off your local C: drive and record all your audio to your external drive.

I am not sure if USB 2 is...

Are you only using 1 partitioned drive?

You need to use a completely separate physical drive to record audio to.

You don't have to work separately. The two can work together beautifully.

Create an Aux in track in PT. Do and insert on the track. Choose > Intrument > Reason.

As an update to this...finally got it to work. I had to download a different version from Digi. Also, the instructions to install it are old and they tell you to put the dll file in the wrong place...

I have the same problem. the MP3 import/export asks me for my code (which I just purchased)...I enter it and then it tells me it's an invalid code.
