I appreciate your checking every version. However, I beg to differ (or I misinterpreted what you wrote)... because 12.4 DOES still have SEPARATE in the Right Click contextual menu working.

Yes, placing the cursor, then right click - and yes to separate the clip at that spot. On another machine with PT 12.4 I can still do that with Mac OS 10.12.3 - so it's not a Sierra thing.

If Avid really disabled it (in the drop down menu) right clicking on a wave form... then why would it even show the word greyed out?

So I upgraded recently to 12.7 (run Mac OS 10.12.3) and have the same issue. Right click and Separate is greyed out of the drop down.

That was my point and impression… that HEAT was included with PT HD 12.2+ software. Nope… that is NOT the case.
