Re: S/PDIF De Ja Vu?

My initial findings were using an imported wav. When it was in the middle of a timeline, and used as markers for punch-in/-out, the new wav started and ended at the correct locations, but it was the...

Re: S/PDIF De Ja Vu?

So how would one go about testing the diferences between digital cables?
One cable was a Premium Digital Interface Interconnect, one was a 75ohm from Maplin, and one was a freebie analog wire packed...

Question S/PDIF De Ja Vu?

Hi All

I set out to try to find if there's a diference in the digital cables I'm using, by linking the S/PDIF OUT of my 002 to the S/PDIF IN, and recording a track played through it. Syncing the...

Re: Where is BootCamp?

Hmmm....

Got it all downloaded and loaded up, but when I try to run it I get an EXPIRED warning.

Is there a patch, or will I have to put my clock back?

Excellent, thanks Willie!

Just got the baby MacBook, love it. Some quirks, but that's the fun.

Where is BootCamp?

Hi All

I'm a PC user and have just bought a MacBook (sure looks pretty!)

I'm running OS 10.4.10 and need to run some of my Windows apps. BootCamp would be the way to go (as I don't get 10.5)...

Re: 10K SATA or 7K2 SATA II?

Hmmm...

I see what you mean.

Do I go the low capacity, expensive, fast route, or the not too far behind cheaper, huge capacity, slightly slower route?

Probably the latter!

10K SATA or 7K2 SATA II?

Hi All

I'm looking to replace my internal recording drive, and was wondering which would be better for audio files.

10,000 rpm on a SATA I bus, or a 7,200 rpm drive on a SATA II bus?

Re: MacBook or MacBook Pro for 002Rack?

Cool, thanks, just the reply I was after!

As far as external recording drives are concerned, is it still Firewire 400 with the Oxford 911 chipset, chained in after the 002R?

Cheers

MacBook or MacBook Pro for 002Rack?

Anyhoo, I need a laptop to do a series of location recordings in schools...

Re: Best live recording option for PTLE?

The MX is a good machine, but the cost and size restriction of it's recording media made me also look for alternatives (73gig U160 68pin SCSI, who has those in stock?).

If you need to chase code,...

Why are there TWO DIGISTORES?

Depending on the region you log in to, it brings you up to one of two pages. Try getting a reference guide from an European region.

Why is this, and how do I get a reference guide to UK?

Re: Hard Copy of 7_3_1 Manual?

That link only seems to work if I'm logged in to the DigiStore as a United States region.

However, they won't ship to UK. They go to New Zealand, Viet Nam, Hong Kong... but not Blighty.

Anyone...

Re: Hard Copy of 7_3_1 Manual?

Hi Sunburst79, that link leads me to a "sorry, product not found" page. Is it only available to US? Or is it the one included in the Automatic Delay Compensation LE package?

Cheers
