After trying to log in, it just takes me back to the first page where you enter the ASC code but it shows the 'Invalid User' error.

Thanks a lot for trying to help! Is it safe to post the ASC...

Took the C|24 to a tech and they traced the fault to a dodgy supply diode on the Command PCB. They replaced the diode and it works great now. Love having techs that will do component level...
