In my opinion Pro Tools should offer and auto toggle between solo/mute as well. You still cannot solo a muted track. This is hilarious.

The vertical scrolling is unpredictably fast. Horizontal scrolling is no issue.
Other Apps like Logic Pro X 10.2.4, Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 etc behave as expected when scrolling horizontally and...

There is no need to uninstall logic. The only file you need to delete navigate to Finder > Go menu (hold down option) library/preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs

Just a quick tip. If you're running mavericks install eucon 2.7.1. It's more reliable on the newer machines like retine mbp.
